The first on our list is QuarterTon Productions, Inc. They specializes in the creation of high-quality electronic presentations for marketing, advertising, business communication, education and entertainment. Media that moves and speaks. Quarterton has space in joels building and rents joels Area Nineteen rental studio for there video productions.

For over 4 years now, Joel have been a member of American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) it the premier for community, culture, commerce and publication relating to publication photography. ASMP is the authoritative voice of publications photographers worldwide. Joel served as Co-Presdent in 2007, and is still on the board in 2008.

In 2007 BDI has started to adopt the PLUS Coalition defitions for image use. The PLUS Coalition is an international non-profit initiative on a mission to simplify and facilitate the communication and management of image rights. the PLUS Coalition exists for the benefit of all communities involved in creating, distributing, using and preserving images.

One of joel's bigest finds is Seefile Software. this software, along with joels other find an Orbiculight, transforms one of your Macs into a web server. This allows BDI to share your media files online and stay in constant communication with your customers and/or coworkers.

Astron Systems designs, manufactures and distributes specialized lighting systems for product or still life imaging. Joel sits on the advisory board for the Visual Communication Deparment for Brown College. Joel meets regularly to help guide the collages in its accademic curriculum. Founded in 1946, Brown College is a recognized leader in private post-secondary education. At Brown College our goal is to provide students with the technical knowledge, skills and hands-on training needed to succeed in many of today’s popular fields.

One of her earliest love affairs was with photography. After the birth of her first child, Jana was disappointed with the quality of portraits she was receiving from the chain studios and decided that she could do better on her own.
