When it rains it pours (minnesota advertising photographer)
The blog post have been a little sparse of late. I apologize for that. But I’ve been busy. I work on a Annual Report, two catalogs, A host of new editorial jobs. Not to mention I was under the weather for a wile. Not n1h1, just a bad cold. I was a grip and technical advisor on a couple TV commercials for a contest Doritos is having. Shawn from Quarterton productions shot them using my Canon 5dMKII. I can’t post it here but you can go look for your self. www.crashthesuperbowl.com/ Look under directors and the letter Q. The first one is a guy comes in late, the second one is about raking leaves.
Here’s a couple of shot of what I have been working on.
This was not the shot I was going for. I did the shot the client and I disused, and then she said “since were here, can you shoot a couple of shots for our newsletter?. Sure, no problem. I set up these two linemen at the back of the truck, getting ready to go to work. With a little help from Adobe Lightroom I turned a partly sunny day into the coming storm.
This was a possible cover for a Collage Magazine. The collage has a new emergency room training trailer they wanted to feature.
This is part of a set of images I did for a local Business Magazine. Article was not going to appear until the January-Feb. Issue. I really did not want to shoot out in the snow. so I did this a couple of months early.
Well I’m off to do a couple of more assignments today. I’ll try to post more soon.
Joel
