May 14th is the day set for the Butkowski Digital Imaging Open house. (Wing Ding ’09) There will be lots of chicken wings, refreshments, and fun.  This year the local AdFed club is joining us for the celebration.

The open house will be 11 to 2pm and then Adfed is having Keith Gilbert of Gilbert consulting to give a seminar on Adobe in design. Later there will be a panel discussion on the state of the creative industry.

It will be one full day.But for now it’s a lot of work.

Next week  I’ll be shooting some soup images. I’ll post them up later next week.

But here’s one for you to look at now.

I was shooing some images for my portfolio. And as always, I had my trusty canon G9 with me.

It has a great little movie feature that is use. So I set it up and shot this little flick on the pancake photos I was working on.  Its a plain set. (simple is better when shooting food).  Just a couple of props and a surface to shoot on. I was going for a more “county morning” look.  I edited it in Imovie, and exported for the web. I hope the quality is OK. Click on the link bellow.
