The new book is done! (Minneapolis Advertising Photographer)
I use Blurb as my book publisher. The software is great for those who are page design challenged. The new version of the book software allows you to make tweaks and edit the lay out more. My first book, A delectable Vision, a food portfolio was a hit with Art directors. I had to get a couple more copies made. It was a collection of images that i did over the past year. Some of the images can be seen at Minneapolis Food Photographer, my food site. The second book, my People Portfolio is now done. This time I went with a rapped image cover and the premium paper. Its about 40 pages long 10×8 inch horizontal size. I divided it in to the three areas in-which I work. Annual reports/ corporate communications, Trade Magazines, and Collage and Universities. I added some images from a couple resent shoots to keep it fresh. And since most of my people shooting is on location, that is were the name came from.

I recently added some strobe modifiers to my arsenal of equipment. What are they? There area series of attachments that are added to my small camera flash. These will give me the ability to travel lighter, be faster from the time I think of how I want to create the image, to shooting. For the small flash community out there, aka Strobist. I put together a short demo of the what they can do.

I think this will be our best so far. One the reasons is were not just promoting BDI and QTP. but helping the hole creative community of Central Minnesota get thru some tough times. I am so blessed to work with some many creatives that I think anything I can do to help them I will.

A business magazine call Business Central. The assignment was part of a cover story of a local insurance company. They have been around since the 1940′s. The portrait was of Bob the elder and his son Robert.
I had little time as usual. But we manage to get two different locations in there offices.
I got back to the studio and edited them and posted them up on my seefile site to get them to the designer. The magazine is going to press on Monday, so this was a rush job.
